This is an incredibly easy and budget friendly meal!
INGREDIENTS:
1.5 pounds of chicken breasts
2 jars of BBQ Sauce
1 package of sandwich buns or Sweet Hawaiian Rolls
MAKE TODAY INSTRUCTIONS:
- Dump the two jars of BBQ sauce into the crockpot and add the chicken.
- Cook on low for 4 to 5 hours or on high 3 hours. Note, each crockpot cooks a little differently so adjust the cooking time as needed to ensure that the chicken is completely cooked.
- Remove the chicken from the crockpot and shred it using two forks. Return the shredded crockpot to the crockpot and stir.
- Serve up the sandwiches! Put them on a plate with a pickle slice, chips and/or fresh fruit
FREEZER PREP INSTRUCTIONS:
- Label a gallon size ziplock bag – BBQ Chicken Sliders – Crockpot onlow for 4 to 5 hours or on high 3 hours.
- When you’re ready to cook the meal, pull the bag out of the freezer and thaw it in the refrigerator over night. Dump it in the crockpot and it will be ready in a few hours!
- After it’s cooked, remove the chicken from the crockpot and shred it using two forks. Return the shredded crockpot to the crockpot and stir.
- Serve up the sandwiches! Put them on a plate with a pickle slice, chips and/or fresh fruit
